The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce that the club has acquired 2005-born forward Alex Akena from the Sarnia Legionnaires, and signed him for the 2024-2025 season.
Akena, who is from London, ON, enters his second season in the GOJHL. In his rookie year, in Sarnia, Akena scored five goals and added three assists for eight points in 37 games. In the playoffs, he dressed in three games. Akena also provides versatility, with an ability to play on the back end as well. He played his minor hockey with the Lambton Jr. Sting.
The Kings look forward to Alex’s impact, and a strong 2024-2025 season.
